Jackie (Jack) Ray Hennefer

Jackie Ray Hennefer (Jack) passed away on October 20, 2021.

He was born May 4, 1935, to Ray Hennefer and Fern Bryner Hennefer in Ogden, Utah.
At age 17, he met and married the love of his life, Merlene Joy Hone Hennefer, they were married for 69 years and raised six children together. They lived at 811 16th Street in Ogden, Utah for 62 years. Their love for each other and the Savior has carried them through many trials.

Jack was always a hard worker. He worked for Western Mill and Wide Horizons.
He loved to go camping, hunting, and fishing with his family.

Jack and Merlene were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, he loved God and served in the Ogden Temple with his wife for many years.

He is survived by his wife Merlene, six children; Jack Hennefer, Dean (Vickie) Hennefer, Christine (Mark Acker) Hennefer, Diann (Jim Scadden) Hennefer, Carol (Shirl Rawson) Hennefer, Sharol (Lance Hal Bush) Hennefer, 25 grandchildren, and too many great-grandchildren to count.

Jack will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

I will miss my last surviving uncle, Margaret and I lived in the same ward the last 46 years .uncle Jack was always a great example to me he was first in line at every ward project there was ,I enjoyed all his insights and comments in presthood meetings and activities for all these years.till we meet again uncle jack.
