Our dear Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, Jacqueline Rose Watts Mitchell Allen, passed away peacefully at her sons home in South Weber surrounded by family on August 13, 2015. She was born on March 24, 1948 in Ogden, Utah to Wells LeRoy Watts and Carmen Belvedere Watts.
Jacqueline married Earl A. Mitchell on March 31, 1967, they later divorced. On February 14, 1987she married David B. Allen. She called Clinton her home for 45 years.
Jacqueline attended Sunset Elementary, and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1966. She obtained a job with the Davis County School District as a cafeteria cook for 18 years reaching management level. Jacqueline acquired a lab technician position for Doctor Darrel G. Smith, DDS, and Doctor Adam J. Martin, DDS. She worked as a technician for 20 years and then retired.
Jacqueline enjoyed cooking, gardening, her children and grandchildren, family activities such as camping and traveling, her dogs, Taz and CiCi.
Jacqueline leaves behind two sons, Curtis (Suzanne) Mitchell of South Weber and Clint Mitchell of Clinton, three grandchildren: Paden, Wyatt and Dusty, three sisters: Denise Page, Patricia (Brett) Thrope, and Michele (Tim) Gooch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wells and Carmen Watts; sister, Susan Watts; husbands, Earl Mitchell and David Allen.
Jacqueline was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was a special lady, and she will be dearly missed.
A special thanks goes out to her cousin Bonnie Judkins for her loving care during her final hours. Many thanks go out to Dr. Rafe Connors, Dr. Brandon Whintle, CNS Hospice nurses/staff and Ms. Whitney Gailey for their support in her final days.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
