James Yancey Dixon age 67, passed away, December 18, 2011. He was born, August 24, 1944 to Dorthea Jean Dixon Thomas Clifford Dixon in American Fork, Utah. James is survived by his wife Shirley, mother Dorthea Jean Dixon Finch, Brothers Cliff Dixon, Danny Dixon, Kelly Dixon (Linda), Sister Mary Ann Wilson (Ray), his children Taffie Evans, Sandi Evans, Jamie Dixon Sanders (LaMar), Yancey J. Quick, Step children Junior Gifford, Angela Gifford, and many nieces and nephews, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grand children who he held dear.He was preceded in death by his father Thomas C. Dixon, Tom Finch, Brother Tommy G. Dixon, one niece Erin Mackenzie nephew Matthew Wheeler.Funeral Arrangements will be held Friday December 23rd at the Foxglen Ward 3649 W 4800 S Roy, UT at 2:00pm.Arrangements under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary.
