James Paul Maness, 28, passed away quietly in his sleep Sunday, May 8, 2016 at his home. He was born March 26, 1988 to James E. and Julie Summers Maness in Ogden, Utah. Jim attended Valley View Elementary, South Ogden Junior High and graduated from Bonneville High School in 2006. He attended Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College and completed the welding program. Jim was a skilled self taught guitarist. He loved his parents, his dogs and his music. Jim is survived by his parents; one aunt; three uncles and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents (Maness); maternal grandparents (Summers); uncle, Jeff; aunt, Lynda and Mr. Bear. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
