Janet Cornell's Obituary

Janet passed away peacefully in Pleasant View Utah where her son Robert and daughter-in-law Danette and their family reside. She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Fortunato and Louise Giaganto. She was married to her love of 62 years Ray W. Cornell. They relocated to Southern California. Janet was a homemaker. Janet was a manager for a childrens bowling league, Janet coached a softball team for girls. She served as a Democratic delegate for Robert Kennedys election campaign in 1968. Janet is survived by 5 of her 6 children and spouses Raymond (Linda), Beverly (Roger), Robert (Danette), Russell (Kathy), and Ryan Kenneth (Annette). She also saw the family grow with her ten grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Wednesday Oct. 29,2014 6:00-8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th St. Ogden UT Services will be held on Monday Nov. 3rd at 12:00pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5835 W. Slauson Avenue in Culver City, California.
