Janice Carol High, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the age of 78. Her final days were spent in Layton, UT, where she had made her home and countless memories.

Her life was marked by her commitment to her family, her career, and her church community.

Her professional life was distinguished by a 30-year career at Hill Air Force Base in Layton, UT. This is also where she met her husband, Gary High. They created a life together and welcomed three children, Ryan, Melissa, and Angie.They were blessed with six grandchildren.

She was a member of the Oak Ridge Ward, and had previously served in the primary, Sunday school, and as a ministering sister.

Janice found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved to laugh. She was an avid reader, a skilled cross-stitcher, and an enthusiastic participant in playing board games. She was the heart of holiday celebrations and family dinners, creating memories that her family will hold dear forever.

Janice's presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and family will continue to live on in the hearts of those that knew her.
