In Loving Memory of Jared Spencer Fenn
With deep love, we remember Jared Spencer Fenn—a beloved son, brother, and father—who passed from this life on April 6, 2026. Jared lived with a bright spirit and a tender heart, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jared was known for his warmth, humor, and ability to light up a room. He had a naturally energetic personality and a generous soul, always wanting others to feel included, accepted, and valued. He had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease. His presence brought connection, laughter and joy to those around him.
Music was one of Jared’s great loves and became one of the ways he connected, expressed himself, and brought people together. He lit up with a guitar in his hands, bringing energy, heart, and authenticity whether he was playing with his band or just jamming at home.
In his later years, Jared held a belief in Jesus Christ and was on his personal journey of faith, hope and repentance, believing in the power of Christ's redemption. He displayed humility as he sought redemption from past mistakes.
Above all, Jared loved his family. He is survived by his son, Elliott Fenn; his parents, William Fenn and Jean Chesley; and his siblings, Nicholas Hall, Matthew Wimmer, David Fenn, Heather Carlton, Tambi Porter, and Brittany Nevarez. He is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
We find peace in believing that Jared is now free and at rest—surrounded by love, light, and healing. His laughter, kindness, and the way he made others feel will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 16th at 2:00 p.m. located at Leavitt’s Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to the service.
