Jared Michael Watring, 35, of Hooper, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2022 after a 13 year battle with Melanoma. Jared, affectionately known as "Dubz," was born on November 19, 1986, to Mike and Janet Watring in Ogden, Utah. Jared attended Bonneville High School and graduated in 2005. He held many jobs throughout his life including a customer service rep at the IRS and a case selector at Associated Foods. Jared had a great sense of humor and enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, playing cards, cheering on his beloved Cowboys, and lifting weights. He was an amazing uncle to his niece and nephews and never missed an opportunity to attend their sporting events or help them with homework. Jareds truest passion was being a father to his beautiful baby girl Jordan Janet Watring. He loved caring for her and playing with her. Jared had a hard exterior but the truest of hearts. He valued loyalty and family above all else. Jared will be greatly missed and leaves a void in our family that will never be filled. Jared is survived by his daughter Jordan Watring, his father Mike Watring, sisters Nicole (Jon) Nelson, Janalee (Craig) Thompson, Jarian Watring, and brother Sam Watring. Jared is preceded in death by his mother Janet Hampton, grandparents Jerry and Mary Jo Watring, grandmother Frances Coon, and uncle Jeffery Coon. A celebration of life will be held on April 22, 2022, at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT. Friends and Family may attend between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. All are invited to dress casually or in their favorite sports jersey. A graveside service will follow at the Ogden City Cemetery.
