Obituary

Jarie Waterfall, born on April 17, 1945, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. A radiant figure of warmth and life, Jarie left an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy, a tapestry of beautiful art and kindness, will continue to inspire and bring joy to those who encounter it.

Jarie's love for art was profound and deeply personal. Among her favorite pieces was the work of Vincent Van Gogh, whose vibrant colors and daring brushstrokes resonated with her own artistic spirit. A passionate painter herself, her creativity was not confined to the canvas. She was known to infuse every aspect of her life with artistry, colors and flare. Her favorite was the soothing Prussian blue, often reflected in her choice of attire and art works.

Apart from painting, Jarie loved spending quality time with her family, going on joyful bike rides, and rejuvenating hikes and kayaking. Her presence was always comforting and lively, like the effervescence of her favorite Coca Cola floats. She relished these shared moments, and they became cherished memories for those who loved her.

She is survived by her adored siblings, Bob and Juanita, her loving daughters, Bobbi Gibson, English Olson, and Adalena Waterfall. As well as her cherished grandchildren, Jeremy, Alexandra, Breanna, Christina, and Freddy, and her great-grandchildren. Jarie's spirit lives on in them. Her character, described as warm, caring, and full of life, was a testament to her ability to find joy and beauty in the simplest of things, and her resilience in the face of life's obstacles.

Jarie shared valuable lessons with those around her, always encouraging them to be brave and fight through any challenges that life might present. She always urged us to create something beautiful today, a motto that truly embodied her perspective on life.
