Jeanette Donna Merriam, 89, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2012.She was born December 20, 1922, to Don and Francis Woolsey in Ogden, Utah. She married Roy C. Merriam June 6, 1942. He preceded her in death. As a Christian, she has served in various ministries. She was also an active member of many clubs and civic organizations. She worked at the Defense Depot Ogden, Hill Air Force Base and K-Mart.Her many hobbies included crocheting, handcrafts, and quilting. Her children and their spouses are; Rosemary and Joseph Higgs, Don R. Merriam (deceased), Marsha and Garey Olson, Patricia Marsh, Deborah and Arthur Terkelson, Roger and Sherrilyn Merriam, and Jeffery and Tami Merriam. She has 26 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family will greet friends Saturday prior to the service from 12:45 ~ 1:45 p.m.Interment will follow at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
