Jeanette Aloha Muench, 97, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2016. She was born November 22, 1918 in Bayard, Nebraska to Ralph Roland and Agnes Boddy Rogers. She married Kenneth Edward Muench on June 1, 1941 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He died May 14, 1986. Jeanette was reared and educated in Bayard, Nebraska and graduated from Bayard High School in 1936. She attended York Business College in York, Nebraska. Besides residing in Bayard and York, Nebraska, she lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Los Angeles, California and Renton and Auburn, Washington. She worked for the Boeing Company at Hill Air Force Base for 18 years, retiring in 1979. She was an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and very involved in their Presbyterian Womens group. She rarely missed an event that had anything to do with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jeanette is survived by one son, Larry V. Muench; daughters, Aloha (Larry) Whitney, Marlene (Duane) Waters, all of Ogden, Utah; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one sister, Morna Maxine Warren of Chadron, Nebraska. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; one brother, Paul Keen Rogers and two sisters, DeLaine Riggs and Lucile Barrett. Our family would like to thank the staff and residents at Brookdale Assisted Living and the Inspiration Hospice team for their loving care. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:00 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah with Reverend Monica Hall of the Trinity Presbyterian Church officiating. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 9:00 to 10:45 am. Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
