"Together Again" Jeanette Barkdull Spendlove, of Washington Terrace, a beautiful and loving wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in her home at the age of 82. She was born in Ogden, Utah, the fourth of five children to Fay and Lena Roundy Barkdull. Jeanette graduated from Ogden High School. In 1958, Jeanette met and married her sweetheart, Buddy J Spendlove (deceased). They made their life and family together for over 50 years. She worked at the IRS for over 23 years. She loved being with her family, playing bridge, bowling and golfing with friends. Jeanette is survived by her sister, Irene Burt; sons, Scott Engstrom, Tod Spendlove; two daughters, Diane Engstrom Carter, and Kelly Spendlove Vigil; seven (7) grandchildren and fifteen (15) great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy J. Spendlove; brother, John Barkdull; sisters, Shirley Jensen, and Helen Lowder. A Viewing will be on Thursday December 8, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 am at Leavitts Mortuary. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 am.
