Our Saint Jeanne Ellis Frost passed away January 3, 2016. She was born May 26, 1923 to Silva Larsen and Asa Lynwood Ellis in Standardville, Utah descended from LDS pioneers from Denmark and England. She was raised in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Ogden High School in 1941. After attending business school, she then went to work at Hill Field as a secretary in Personnel. There she met Chauncey West Frost and they were married July 12, 1943. Their vows were later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. They raised their family on a farm in Morgan, Utah. Their 4 children are Leslie (Gary) Slate, Bruce (Linda-deceased) Frost, Sandra (Michael) Pittman and Gary L. Buck (Brenda Watkins) Frost. She has 11 grandchildren, 20 great grand children and 1 more, baby Johnson expected in July, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She and Chauncey enjoyed camping, fishing, rock hunting and working their gold claim in Oregon. He died in 1987. She retired from Hill Air Force Base with 29 years of Service. She was an active member of the LDS Church, served a work mission at the Family History Library and enjoyed working at the Ogden, Temple. Her interests include writing family histories and genealogy. She is survived by her sister, Gwen Stephens, brother, James (Dorey) Ellis, brother-in-law, Richard (Priscilla) Frost and a sister-in-law, Arlis Frost. She was a loving mother who worked hard for her family and supported us in all she did. Services will be held at Leavitts Mortuary on Friday January 8th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to services from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be held at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park following the services.
