Jeanne passed away peacefully at home on 2/15/23 at the age of 80 years old. Jeanne married Ernie Perkins in 1963 and received a bachelors degree from Weber State University in 1965. She worked as a research chemist in the field of electric propulsion and supported her husbands career in the Navy. They worked and lived in many places during this time including Iceland, Korea, Spain, California, Maine and Rhode Island. They returned to Utah in 1995 and Jeanne worked at Hill AFB until she retired. Jeanne enjoyed traveling, wine tasting, working in the garden, book clubs and volunteering at the Ogden Nature Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years and her parents Margarite Christensen and George Redfield. Jeanne is survived by her children John Perkins and Jennifer Leaverton. 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many siblings Dick Christensen, Ron Christensen, Steve Christensen, Jon Scott Christensen and sister Linda Sellers. The memorial for Jeanne will be held on Saturday, March 18th, 6:00pm at the UUCO Church, inside First Presbyterian Church, 880 E 28th Street, Ogden Ut. Refreshments will be available along with wine from the "Perkins Family Cellar"
