Jeanne Dabb Romero's Obituary

Jeanne passed away peacefully on March 8, 2016 in Ogden, Utah surrounded by family. She was born November 9, 1944 in Sacramento, California to Earl and Donna Dabb. She later moved to Ogden, Utah where she spent her life. Jeanne was a loving mother to her children, her son, Milo Pettingill and daughter, Paige Pettingill Hamblin and Paiges husband, Shawn. Jeanne also adored her four grandchildren. Jeanne immensely enjoyed the crisp fresh air of the back country and beauty of mountain scenery. She had a love for gardening, fishing and ranching, particularly having a soft spot for her ornery turkey, Turkey-lurk. She was one to enjoy the challenge of a good crossword puzzle as well. Jeanne often proudly boasted that she had been a member of the Klunker Klub Motorcycle Club, The Utah Trail and Endurance Riders and the Ogden singles group. Jeanne graduated from Ben Lomond High School and attended Weber State University. She was employed as a Logistics Foreman for Defense Depot Ogden for 25 years before retiring. Jeanne is survived by her two children, Milo and Paige; sister, Dianne Roylance and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Envision Hospice Care and the staff of Crestwood Care facility. It was Jeannes wish to forgo services and wished only for those who knew and loved her to cherish the fond memories they shared with her and celebrate the time they spent. Cremation under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Please send condolences to the family at: www.leavittsmortuary.com
