Jeannette Baker Getz left this earthly life in the early morning hours of September 24th, surrounded by her children.
She was born in February 1945 to Lloyd Baker and Margaret Flowers Baker. She was the third of 7 children.
She was sealed to her sweetheart Ivan Ronald Getz in the Salt Lake temple in May 1968.

She was proceeded in death by her father, mother, and grandson Mason Woodall-Getz.

She is survived by her daughter Kim (Foi) Toomalatai and their children Magnus, Korina,Samora, Meadow and Laiker; and son, Phillip John (Maria) Getz and their children Garrett, Court, Grady and Evie.

Jeanette was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Her family was very important to her. She was known for her kind nature and love of the gospel. She was a teacher and was constantly learning. She served in many callings in the church. Her favorite and most challenging was the ward chorister. She loved music and the history behind the hymns. She will be missed by those who’s lives she has touched.

Services will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St in Ogden UT. A visitation will be held Wednesday September 28 at 10:00am followed  by memorial services at 11:00am. Entombment to immediately follow services at Leavitts Mausoleum.
