Jeannine Goodwin Heppler's Obituary

Jeannine G. Heppler, 84, passed away on August 29 in Ogden, Utah. She was born December 26, 1933 in Cedar City to Alma and William Goodwin. She attended East High School and received her degree in Business Administration from Westminster College. She was a flight attendant for United Airlines and served as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant for three mechanical engineering companies during her career. Jeannine loved helping gather people, and spent much of her time organizing alumni and community events. She was an active member of P.E.O. and the United Church of Christ. She enjoyed her family cabin in Timber Lakes, doing puzzles, and spending time with her extended family of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was welcoming to all who met her, possessed a wonderful wit, and had a beautiful singing voice. In September 1958, she married Gerald Heppler, her husband of 60 years, and the man who stole her heart after they met at the service station where he worked. Jeannine is survived by Gerald, three children, Susan (Keven), Sandy (Tim), and Gerald, Jr., five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, September 3 at 11:00 am at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 3350 Harrison Blvd., Ogden. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospital.
