Parents: Franklin B. Woolley and Harriet Blair Woolley
Married: Betty Bridgman of Mpls. MN and Ogden, Utah in Gulfport, Miss. 1950. My very special lady through all the years together.
Preceded in death: Parents and brother Frank, sisters Harriet Thomas, Juliet Ball, Helen Holley and Betty, who passed in Sept. 2019 after 69 years of marriage.
Education: Bachelor of Science, Aeronautical Engineering from Univ. of Southern Calif., Master of Science, Aeronautical Engineering from Univ. of Michigan.
Military Service: WW lI/8-24 Navigator, 35 combat missions with 15th AF, Italy. KB-29 Navigator 1950-51 with 301st bomb wing, SAC. Assignments in R&D, equipment and missile testing, subsequent ten-year assignments in Technical Intelligence. Retired in 1976
Decorations and Awards include the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal w/ 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.
Residences: Upon retirement moved to Nordic Valley, Eden, Utah, active in community affairs, golf maintenance. In 1994 began winter residence in Arizona City, AZ. Moved to Battlement Mesa, CO in 1997.
Organizations: Charter member Air Force Association, member Military Officers Association of America, member The American Legion Post 129, Huntsville, UT, 456th Bomb Group Assn.
Activities: Avid golfer and tennis player, liked to fly fish when younger.
Interment: Mountain View Cemetery, Eden, Utah, conducted by Leavitt's Mortuary, Ogden, Utah.
