Jennifer Amanda Habel, 42, passed away June 24, 2011 from Natural Causes.She was born January 18, 1969 to Janice Caroline Edwards and Ronald Williams Habel in Alexandria Virginia.Jennifer graduated from East High School and attended Hameshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.Jen and John were married 17 years and were each others soul mates. Together they built Soul Bones, the best Cajun BBQ west of the Mississippi.Jen is legendary for her documentation of Salt Lake City Punk and of the national punk scene over the last three decades.Her humor and point of view will be sorely missed.Jen is survived by her husband John and Zorak. Her parents, sisters Shana Habel and Katie Hillam (Brad), her brother Justin Habel (Emily), seven nieces and nephews and one grandniece.Come celebrate Jens life with us at Rock Cliff campground Jordanelle State Park on Sunday, July 10, 2011 starting at 2 PM until we drop.In lieu of flowers donations for medical expenses can be sent C/O John Dearmin to 1372 Craftsman CT.
