Obituary

And there it was a beautiful life wrapped up with one last breath. On an ordinary Friday the 1st of May 2026 @ 9:15AM when the world had awakened and the birds broke out in song, and as a soft breeze combed through the trees, Jennifer left her God given body and with no doubt in my mind returned to God's welcoming arms. Her exit was significantly paralleled to her entry into the world. She took her first breath at our home in Ogden, Utah August 29, 1956 @ 12:27 AM. Delivered by a Naturopath, she was welcomed by her parents Delbert and Carmell Harris and her 3-year-old sister Tara Darcel.

From this calm and peaceful arrival spurred on a child of nature; the great

outdoors became her external playground. Her health-conscious lifestyle

included yoga and daily meditation. She forged her unconventional path with the grace of God throughout her life.

Health was one of her top priorities, acquiring a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition at the University of Reno (1990) and after obtaining a Masters from the University of Cincinnati (1992). She took her skills as a dietician to West Virginia, Bethel Alaska, and later establishing her own business Ambika's Ayurveda in Chico, CA.

Jennifer provided services as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist offering Bliss therapies and Panchakarma's to her clients. Her knowledge of Ayurvedic herbs and the creation of her own oils made it possible to also establish a website to sell her products. I would be remiss if not mentioning her travels to Vietnam for many years to oversee, instruct and give guidance on the application of Panchakarmas. Her last and final visit to Vietnam was this past November 2025. She would often reflect on her time spent in Vietnam as being a beautiful and sacred experience.

Jennifer found the love of her life, David Lohr October 2007. Their shared adventurous nature took them to Haines Alaska where David purchased property on the Lynn Canal and began designing their dream home. For almost 17 years they embarked on this journey, living during the summer months in Alaska. They were married on the property June 21, 2013.

It is worth mentioning that Jennifer's compassionate and service-oriented essence and love was a direct gift of her spirituality.

She had a true understanding that we are all spiritual beings and here for a probationary period. Her journaling reflected the love and devotion she carried in her heart and soul for Krishna. She expressed a deep understanding of the Bhagavad Gita with a divine joy. She studied both Biblical scripture and the teachings of Krishna developing a beautiful overview of a combined consciousness. Jennifer was aware her life was a gift and practiced devoting everything she did for the glory of God. She had the faith of a small mustard seed. (Matt 17:20)

Jennifer gave inspiration to so many and will be remembered for her good works and giving heart. She exhibited a brave determination to live life fully and with a purpose.

I can only imagine the reunion Jennifer embraced with a celebration of loved ones gathering to welcome her with open hearts. Our sister Shanda

Harris, her father Delbert Harris, her mother Carmell Harris, her beloved husband David Lohr also her Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.

Jennifer left behind her blessings, love and memories for friends to carry forth and share. She also left her sister, Tara Picciotti, (Ron), 3 nephews Chad, Kyle and Matt Picciotti, a step-daughter Aquilla Kappy and step-son Hiram Lohr, 3 step-grandchildren, many cousins, and her dearly loved 99-year-old Aunt Roberta.

Many lifelong friends from both the past and present. \Her love and light will be missed immensely by all of us.

As I seek to navigate a life without my sister's daily phone calls, yearly visits, cards and gifts, I will strive to live through the memory of her. I vow to love people more intently and with purpose. I will look for Jennifer in the people she knew and loved. This kind of perfect love doesn't die, people do, so when all that is left of her is love... I will give her away. That will be Jennifer still moving through the world! Always keeping her memory and love alive.

A celebration of life will be held on August 29, 2026, in Chico, Ca. Time and location will follow.
