Jerry Lee Casteel passed away at 4:47 a.m. on July 31, 2012; at St. Marys Hospital in Reno, Nevada. He was born on January 16, 1957. Jerry attended Ogden High School before joining the U.S. Navy from 1974-1981. He worked for the ski industry and was currently employed by Doppelmayr/CTEC, helping build ski lifts all over the world. Jerry is survived by his mother, Ruth Overman, his sisters, Vickie (Roger) Rock and Jan (Dennis) Daniels, his brother, James Casteel and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Lewis R. Casteel and his brother, Richard L. Casteel. Graveside services for Jerry will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd, Ogden. Family will meet friends on Sunday August 5, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, and again prior to services on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Alzheimers Association, P.O.
