Jesse LaVern Holden

Jesse LaVern Holden was called back home on June 4,2022.

He was in the Navy during the Vietnam  and was honorably discharged after serving his country bravely. He was a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior as a member of the church of Jesus-Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He leaves behind his second wife Annette R. Rothe of Ogden, Utah, brother Robert Holden of Ogden, Utah, sisters Sally and Susie, daughters Erica Lynn (Neilson) of Corrine Utah, Stefanie Ann (Holtermann) of Springfield, Tennessee, step children Jeff Mcknight of West Jordan, Utah, Carmen Hayter (Mcknight) of Selah, Washington, Mike Mcknight of Layton, Utah, Greg Mcknight of West Bountiful, Utah, Mindi Salazar (Mcknight), of Sicily, Italy, and many grandchildren and great children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Winnie, his first wife Arlene (Archibald) ,daughter Elizabeth Irene (Cragun), son David William, grandson Matthew Michael (Marquardt), and many other family members who were there to welcome him home.

Memorial service will be held at Leavitt’s mortuary 836 36th St, Ogden, UT 84403 Friday June 17th at 10:00 am, with graveside to follow.

He was deeply loved by those who knew him. He was a mentor to many. His grandchildren will miss their Ponka.

We love and will miss you everyday Papa Bear.
