JoAnn Dodson, 73, of Washington Terrace, Utah, passed away at her home on April 2, 2024. JoAnn was born on October 5, 1950, to Eugene and Shirley Gipson in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Roy High School in 1969. She married Thomas Dodson on August 26, 1988. She retired from Hill Air Force Base.

JoAnn enjoyed her Harley, gardening and drinking coffee. She loved anything Mickey Mouse and clocks but mostly her grandboots (grandchildren and great-grandchildren).

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Mindy (Shannon) Davis, grandboots Ashlee and Amy, four great-grandboots, sisters Susan (Mike) O'Connor, Billie Gipson, brothers, Kelly Gipson, Sammy (Mel) Gipson, sister-in-law, Sue Gipson and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, sister, Sandra Berg, brother, Jimmy Gipson, and both her parents.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Leavitt's Mortuary and Aultorest Memorial Park.
