Jodi Branz Hoskins

Jodi Branz Hoskins passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Jodi was born on February 1,1952 to Dr. Louis and Josephine Branz. Born and raised in Ogden, she was one of five siblings. Those who knew the Branz crew knew they loved life and each other. There was nothing more important to Jodi than her family. She spent her life caring for every one of them. They were also such jokesters; there was never a dull moment in the Branz house.

Jodi attended Ogden High School after which she would go on to assist her dad at his bustling dental practice.

In 1985, her sister Vicki would introduce Jodi to Brian Hoskins who she had met at Lake Powell. Little did she know she was introducing Jodi to the love of her life! Jodi and Brian were inseparable for the next 31 years until, in 2016, Brian was diagnosed with terminal cancer and would be called home to be with God.

Jodi was an animal lover and often donated to local shelters and humane societies. Her beloved cat, Louie, brought her so much joy.

Jodi is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brian, her parents, Dr Louis and Josephine Branz, Siblings John, Vicki, Steve, and Rod Branz.

She is survived by her three daughters Wendi (Jim) Darr, Tiffany (Brian) O'Donnell, Brandee (Kris) Mellert, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Becky (Dave) Pritchett, numerous nieces, and a nephew.

Jodi will be missed by all who knew her. Especially her girls, who take comfort knowing that Jodi is at peace, free from pain and reunited with their dad.
