Our bright and shining star left us forever lonely on Friday, February 20, 2015. Jodi was born December 26, 1965 to Ramona Fisher Allison and John S. Allison. She came home from the hospital New Years Eve. It was her parents best New Years Eve ever. She was baptized at the Kaysville LDS 12th Ward in the winter of 1974. Jodi attended Kaysville Schools including Burton Elementary, Kaysville Jr. High, and Davis High, where she was voted Pro Schola President in her Sophomore Year, Vice President of her Junior Class, and Student BodyVice President in her Senior Year. She was very active in AYSO Soccer from grade school through high school, plus was on the school basketball teams, volleyball teams, and the city softball teams. She was the first girl to be allowed to play on the City softball teams. She was the first girl to be allowed to play on the city boys basketball team when she was only eight. After high school, she attended Weber State College on a scholarship where she studied photography. She moved to California in 1986 where she began her career in Commercial Banking. While living in San Francisco she met and fell in love with Ralph Hodson, a Layton guy also living and working in San Francisco. They returned to Utah in 2000 and were married on a cruise in 2002 attended by her whole family. Unfortunately, Ralph died just seven months after they married while they were visiting her parents in Mazatlan, Mexico. After several lonely years, Jodi met her current husband, David Pace. She had become good friends with his two daughters and they introduced her to their father. She enjoyed many good time outings with them and fell in love with David. They were married August 11, 2006. They have enjoyed many camping and ATV trips together as well as vacationing in Yellowstone, Oregon, Canada and Montana in their motor home. Jodi and Dave also enjoyed skiing, fishing, and snowshoeing. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of her Life on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Leavitts Waterfall Reception Area, 836 - 36th St., Ogden. Interment at West Point City Cemetery.
