Joel A George passed from this life to the next December 11, 2014 surrounded by family and Friends. Joel was born December 10, 1947 in West Reading, PA to loving parents Arthur and Lillian George. He attended Kutztown High School and following graduation he attended Weber State College. He was a well know preacher to all. A lifelong member and State Chaplain of ABATE of Utah. A very good friend in the biker community. His passion was to ride the roads on his Can-Am Trike visiting his many friends throughout the states. Joel is survived by his wife Tammy; his children Joshua (Tracey), Jeremy (Kristin), Jason (Brandi), Jon (Blakely), Lela George. Stepchildren; Amber Mattson, Heather Greer (David), Craig (Melissa) Bell and 10 (two on the way in February and May) grandchildren. Joel is preceded in death by his parents and his best pal (Taz) his dog. A Celebration of Joels life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary 836-36th Street Ogden. Family will greet friends prior to service from 1:00-2:00 pm. Military honors will be provided by the United States Marine Corp.
