Johannes Jurgen OtzenJohannes Jurgen Otzen, 56, passed away Tuesday January 4, 2011, of heart failure. He was born July 16, 1954 to Walter and Helene Otzen in Rendsburg, Germany. Johannes graduated from school in Germany earning Bachelors degree in Education, Plumbing and Farming. He married Sharonn Brunetti Erickson on June 26, 1997. Johannes was employed at Davis County Fairgrounds as the concession manager. He enjoyed computers, making stained glass, photography and especially loved being outdoors whether working in his yard, hiking, or skiing. He is survived by his wife Sharonn, daughter; Maja Otzen, sister; Christa (Klaus Hermann) Sye, and step children; Shawn (Katy) Erickson, Jason (Rachel) Erickson, and Paul Erickson, and 6 step grandchildren.Johannes was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Jamie Erickson.Memorial services will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden Utah.
