John Giovanni Branz, 69, passed April 20, 2014, a son of Dr. Louis & Josephine Branz, he was born in Clovis, New Mexico.
He graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State College for two years.
On April 20, 2014 we said goodbye to our loving father and grandfather. We rest assured knowing he had been received by our Lord and Father in heaven.
John enjoyed and found great success in the clothing retail business. Starting just out of high school in 1966, John was named department manager of the Red Carpet Shop in downtown Ogden. In 1971 Carl Buehler, Rod Dunn, and John Branz formed Buehler-Dunn-Branz Mens Suit & Tie retail store. During his retirement John stayed active developing and managing real estate.
Other than business John loved meeting new people. He was social, welcoming, and friendly to everyone. John was loved by his family and friends very much, and will be greatly missed. Forever rest in peace Daddy! We love you.
A special thanks to all of our Dads friends in A.A. for their loving support.
John is survived by his son, Nick Branz, daughter, Jeannie Branz, grand-daughter, Kaitlyn Branz, ex-wife and forever friend Pennie Branz, brother, Rod Branz, sisters, Jodi (Brian) Hoskins and Vickie Maughn.
John is preceded in death by parents, Louis and Josephine Branz, brother, Stephen Branz, nephew, Steve Branz, and brother-in-law, Mike Maughn.
