John Alfonzo Conover passed away June 27, 2015. He was born September 3, 1956 to Dorothy and John Conover in New Jersey. He graduated from Clearfield High School. John married Susan Vohs, together they had two children. He also gained three step-children from that union. John loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his two dogs, Chopper and Bebo. They were the world to him. He loved his grandchildren: Mezme, Enrique, Isaac, Jonathan, Anthony, Joey, and Justin. He was very talented and good with his hands. John is survived by two brothers: Bobby and Tony Conover; one sister, Cindy Nance; children: Heather Garcia, Johnny Conover; step-children: Connie, Borland and James Vohs Chasselott; and seven grandchildren. John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Conover; Romona Valdez, Alfonzo Valdez; several family members and two angel nephews. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to services from 1:00 to 1:45 pm.
