Joleen Mindy Johnson-Clifford, 63, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at McKay Dee Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on June 13, 1959, in Ogden, Utah to Jay and May Cordova. Joleen grew up in the Ogden area and graduated from Ogden High School. She married Orland Lopez in 1978, had two daughters and gained two more, they later divorced. Joleen married David Clifford in September of 1993 until her passing. Joleen loved being a grandmother, the life of the party, crystals, tending to her plants, and having quality time with friends and family. She also enjoyed late night conversations, great music and sitting out on the porch soaking up the sun. Joleen is survived by her husband, David Clifford; daughters Angel (Rob) Calaguas, Michelle Lopez and Christina (Donald) Young, children David, Dena & Derek Clifford, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Debbie (Leo) Garcia, brothers Randy (Sandra) Cordova, and Rory Cordova, many family members and lifelong friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Amber Lopez, brother Timothy Cordova and several other close family members. Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, but Joleen will remain in our hearts for a lifetime. We deeply mourn her loss, but we are grateful she is finally free and at peace. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah in the Atrium Room. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow until 1: 00 p.m. Please feel free to bring your favorite stories and memories to share.
