Joseph J. Johns, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 84. He was born to Daniel and Ruth Johns on May 9, 1939, in Holmes County, Ohio.

Joe worked in the wire die industry before retirement. He then found joy in farming his property, mowing his lawn, and keeping old things running. In his younger years, he had many adventures, including working in Liberia, West Africa and a road trip across America in his classic MG convertible. He and his wife, Delores, were married 58 years. In 2020, they downsized and moved from Indiana to Utah.

Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Robert, and his parents, Daniel and Ruth Johns. He is survived by his wife, Delores, his children Angie (Kevin Kurtz), Joe Jr. (Stephanie Johns), and his sisters, Priscilla Nielsen, Nancy Souder, Annie Baker, and Christine Stehman. He was loved and enjoyed by his 5 grandsons.

A family memorial time will be held on December 16 at 12pm-3pm at Washington Heights Church in Ogden, Utah. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Global Initiative at World Partners (wpartners.org).
