Joseph Ludwig Sieger, 84, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015, and was loved by many family members both in the United States and Germany. He was born July 4, 1931, in Cranston, Rhode Island. Joe proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1949 to 1976, serving in Germany and later at the Pentagon, in Washington DC. While serving in the US Air Force in Germany, Joe connected with his German family and established loving relationships. Joe was a long time resident of the east coast, living in Rhode Island, Virginia and Maryland. He was a transplant to Northern Utah to be close to his family. Joe is preceded in death by his loving wife Wilhelmina and is survived by his sons, Joseph (Lorrie) and Eric (Nancy) his daughter Cynthia; grandchildren, Heather, Jesse, Danni, Ericka and William. He has many relatives in Germany of whom he remains very close. Memorial Services will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 1:00 to 1:45 pm. A military burial to be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
