Josephine B Roten ( Hill ) Born, Knox, age 95 passed away peacefully at her home in Ogden, surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 14, 2018. She was born on March 19, 1923 in Evanston, Wyoming to George and Lillian ( Bates ) Hill. The family later moved to Rigby, Idaho and lived on a farm raising animals. After graduating from high school her family moved to Ogden, Utah. Josephine raised two children; a son David Born and daughter Sharon Wright ( Knox ). She was a single mom and did a great job raising us. Josephine married Dan Roten in 1977. They were married 38 years. She loved to garden and listen to country music. She is survived by her daughter Sharon ( LaRoy ) Wright, nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Dan, son Dave, daughter-in-law Nelda, parents, brothers, John, Gilbert and Bill; sisters, Lavon, Beatrice, Ruth, Virtue and Grace. A special thanks to all the wonderful people at Hospice especially nurse Rhoda Dalton, Heather Halbert, Sammy, and Roberto Segovia who was her senior companion for 2 years and made her smile every time he came to sit with her.
