Joyce Galloway, 84, of Ogden, UT, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026 amongst family and friends.

Joyce was born on January 20, 1942, to James Galloway and Christina McDougall in Lochgilphead, Scotland. After schooling she became a nurse and later emigrated to the USA.

Joyce went on to have one child, Courtney Galloway, with Edward Hunter (deceased). Her greatest passion in her leisure time, was reading.

Joyce was predeceased by one brother, James Galloway, and one sister, Mairi McCuish. She is survived by three sisters: Margaret West, Christina Bromley, and Roseann Murdoch; her daughter Courtney Galloway (Michele Galloway); and her dearest friend, Judine Ausra.

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dementia Society of the United States.
