Joyce K. Hideshima, age 66, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. Born on November 4, 1956, in Provo, Utah, she was the beloved daughter of Tad and Alyce Hideshima. Joyce had a rich educational background; she attended Orem High School in 1975 and later went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Utah. Throughout her life, Joyce resided in various places including Denver, Colorado, Ocean City, New Jersey, and Salt Lake City, Utah. One of Joyce's passions was music. She had a deep appreciation for it and enjoyed listening to different genres. Another hobby that brought her immense joy was jewelry making. Her artistic talents shone through her creations, which were cherished by those fortunate enough to receive them. Joyce is survived by her loving father, Tad Hideshima from Ogden, Utah. She also leaves behind two beloved sisters: Patsy Burgi from Orem and Nancy Hideshima from Tempe, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alyce Hideshima. Joyce held a special place in her heart for her mother and their memories together will forever be cherished. A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Joyce K. Hideshima will take place on Saturday, October 7th at 11:00 a.m. The service will be held at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park located at 836 36th St in Ogden, Utah. Joyce touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
