Joyce Berneice Sharp, 89, passed away on March 24,2025. Joyce was born on June 7,1935 to Zilpha and Edward Everett in Salina Kansas. Joyce graduated from Ogden High School in 1953.

Joyce married her soulmate Thomas R Sharp Jr on December 31, 1954. They celebrated 71 years of marriage this past year.

Joyce and Thomas were blessed with 4 children; Raelynn (Mitchell Evans), Thomas Colby Sharp, Russell Drew Sharp, and Kama Leigh (Terry Wilson). Joyce was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She was the manager of Juliette's clothing for 17 years. Her customers loved her, she knew them by name and built a personal relationship with every one of them.

Joyce had many talents which included crocheting full sized blankets for each of her children and would make blankets and outfits for every new baby born into the family. She would sew dresses for her granddaughters for Christmas. Joyce was all about family, she would go out of her way to call or visit every person on their birthday.

Christmas was always magical at her house, from the fancy tree to the Christmas village. Every present was wrapped, no matter how small.

When Joyce and Thomas retired, they bought a truck and a fifth wheel trailer, and the adventures began. They would leave the cold winters of Utah and travel south for 4 months every year. Their zest for life and outdoor adventures was passed down to their children, as camping and traveling was their life. Joyce and Thomas had a favorite saying while travelling, "There are No Bad Days !!"

Joyce was preceded in death by Edward Jack Everett, Zilpha Cecile Jeppson, Earl F Jeppson and Raelynn Sharp Evans. She is survived by Thomas R Sharp Jr. Thomas Colby Sharp, Russell Drew Sharp and Kama Leigh Wilson.

Graveside services will be held at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street Ogden, Utah 84403 on Tuesday April 1, 2025 at 11: 00 a.m.
