IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith Ann Ellertson
Wilson
November 26, 1944 – March 2, 2025
Judith Ann Ellerston Wilson, 80, passed away on March 2, 2025, holding the hand of her loving husband of 53 years.
She was born November 26, 1944, in Ogden, Utah to Marlow D. and Velma Mortensen Ellertson. She attended Polk Elementary, Mount Ogden Jr. High, and graduated from Ogden High School class of 1963. She also attended and graduated from Weber State College in 1968 with a degree in Elementary Education and minors in French and Sociology. Following graduation, she moved to California to fulfill a lifelong dream.
She became a flight attendant and was able to visit many exciting places. While in California, she met her eternal companion, Blaine J. Wilson. They were married in the Oakland LDS Temple on June 12, 1971. To this union were born four children, James B. Wilson, Jeffery M. Wilson (Amy), Jayna Frost (Michael), and Joanna Colvin (Jeremy).
Raising her children was the crowning achievement of her life. After her children were more independent, she worked part time at C.H. Taylor Elementary in the computer lab. From 1998 to 2005 she taught third grade at that school. She retired from teaching, loving the time she spent with students.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint. She served diligently in many ward and stake callings. Her favorite calling was working with the young women. She kept many friends over the years from these callings.
She is survived by her husband, children, 14 grandchildren: Isaac, Levi, Jacob, Reagan, Brayden, Eden, and Jordan Wilson, Amy (Clay), Mindy, and Navy Frost, Lexie Lawrence (Samuel), Chet, Capri, and Lela Colvin, and 3 great grandchildren: Ryder, Dixon, and Hadley Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Col. Stephen Ellertson.
Judith's family will meet with family and friends on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 6-8 P.M. at Leavitt's 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
