Julia Rosannie Saunders February 13, 1929 - March 26, 2015 Julia Rosannie Saunders was born on February 13, 1929 in Avon, Utah to Charles Albert Wells and Sarah Roseannie Cox. She passed away March 26, 2015. Julia loved her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Her passion was her God and her church. She was a previous member of First Christian Church in Ogden, and then a member of Roy Christian Church in Roy. She was involved in many of the churchs womens groups or Bible Studies and especially loved learning about the different women of the Bible. Julia was a member of the "Empty Nesters" group at church and loved going different places with them. In addition to her church, she was a generous supporter of the Wycliffe Bible Translators, The Gideons International and many other charities. Julia was always sewing, quilting, or reading. She made doll quilts and doll clothes for the "YCC" and The Salvation Army and baby quilts for the Pregnancy Care Center. She loved giving to others and she was greatly loved in return. She will be missed by many people. Julia is survived by her four sons: Raymond, Steven, Joseph and Rusty Saunders. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Saunders, who passed away September 17, 1991. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Friends may visit with the family at the mortuary one hour prior to the services from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
