June L. Droscher, 96, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, of natural causes at Mountain Ridge Assisted Living. She and her twin, Jean, were born October 3, 1921, to John Edward Caldwell and Nellie Eckert in Seattle, WA.
June graduated from Foster High School in Seattle, WA in 1939. She married the love of her life and best friend, Ralph Eugene Droscher, in Seattle, WA, on January 29, 1942.
She excelled in selling Avon for 25 years before retiring. June was a huge Jazz Fan and lettered in Basketball when she was in High School. She enjoyed hosting parties, water skiing, and riding her bike. She loved the ocean, swimming and was an avid bowler with an above average score. June lived a life full of adventure and traveled extensively. She will always be remembered for her feisty spirit.
She was a proud member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ogden where she was active in the "Share the Harvest" and oversaw the "Annual Rummage Sale".
She is survived by her children; Mike (Sue) Droscher of Layton, UT, Mardy (Carolyn) Droscher of Cheyenne, WY, Marilyn (Cliff) Hayden of Perry, UT, and Todd (Debbie) Droscher of Norman, OK; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild with another on the way.
June is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Droscher, five siblings, and her grandson Dustin.
A viewing will also be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 6:00 8:00 pm. Services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 11:00 am with a viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
