Karleen Jane Carson passed away on May 13,2022 at the age of 85 from complications of a stroke. She was surrounded by family at the time she passed.
She was born to John A. Little and Edna G Eilander. She was born in Ogden, Utah and grew up on Wilson Lane. She was the youngest of eight children and learned fast how to defend herself. She grew up on a farm and helped out from a early age. She married Ivan Haney when she was 15. The two of them lived in Oregon and Idaho. They were later divorced. She then married Sean C Carson and the settled in Roy, Utah. She worked various jobs including janitorial, waitressing, bartending and final at HAFB where she retired after 29 years. She loved camping, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding, fishing, and the last few years long rides in the car, going to Antelope Island, Farmington Bay and the Bird Refuge. She loved seeing wildlife and the country. She liked to go to Wendover and Fort Hall every once in awhile. Up until her death she was active with yard work and shopping.
On Mother’s Day she suffered her stroke and was in the hospital til she passed. She leaves behind her Big brother and best friend John R Eilander, daughters; Tamara Espin and Teresa Haney, son Sean Carson, grandson Gerrit deMik, granddaughter Christine (Jeffery) Adair, great grandchildren Emily, Mason and Ashley deMik. She is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her brothers Tom Eilander, Theodore Eilander and Richard Little, sisters Florence Scwitzer, Ellen Nicolaides and Beverly Marshall Nicolaides, stepdaughter Celeste Fairbanks. Nephews and nieces and many dear friends.
There will be no official service as requested by her. Family is having a Celebration of life to remember all the happy times with her. They will be happy to visit with you on Thursday May 19 between the hours of 4-8. There will be no talks just visiting. It will be held at Country Meadows Estate in Roy at the Clubhouse.
Cremation is under the care of Leavitt’s Mortuary and her ashes will be placed in their Cremation Memorial Gardens.
