It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Kathleen Elmer, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, on October 24th, 2025.

Kathy was born on November 26th, 1943, to Earl and Lillie May Shipley. She later married Ronald Patterson, with whom she shared two sons, Timothy and Daniel Patterson.

Later, Kathy married the love of her life Joseph Elmer, who had three sons, Myke, Stephen, and Jeffrey Elmer. This blended family of 5 boys kept her on her toes, but she loved them all deeply, along with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Kathy and Joe were sealed to one another in the Ogden Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Kathy is preceded in death by her mother and father, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, 3 sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law. She is survived by her sons Timothy, Daniel (Dixie), Myke (Roxane), Stephen, and Jeffrey, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her 3 brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and their families.

A Family Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Heritage Park ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 250 N 1500 W, Marriot-Slaterville, UT, 84404.
