Kathleen Carol Gillihan passed away August 17, 2013 surrounded with the love of her daughter and soul mate. She was born May 28, 1952 to Virgil and Erma Gillihan in Boise, Idaho. Kathy attended Weber High School and Hollywood Beauty College. She later graduated from the ATC in 1986. Kathy met her soul mate Brenda in 1985. Their love today is as ever strong from the day they met. Kathy was a beautician for many years. She was a well known Billiard player in the Ogden area and won several trophies. She worked for Weber School District and later retired in 2009. She enjoyed reading, crafts, bird watching, spending time with family and friends but mostly she LOVED her grandkids and watching them grow. Kathy was loved by all who knew her and she loved unconditionally. Kathy is survived by her soul mate, Brenda Johnson (Ogden), her daughter Kacey (Christopher) Aaron (North Ogden), brother Richard (Betty) Gillihan (Ogden); sisters, Nancy (Sid) Bush (Ogden) Nadine Robertson (Oregon) and many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind 3 amazing grandsons, Brendan, Braxton and Brody and her Princess Taylor. She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters and 2 brothers: Irene (Gordon) Lee, Darlene (Jack) Gillihan, Shirley (Warren) Scully, Albert (Sharon) Taylor and David (Carol) Williams. Funeral Services will be held Thursday August 22, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street where friends may visit with the family from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to services.
