Kathryn Dallinga Gale, 94, beloved mother, sister grandmother, aunt and wife, passed away quietly at her home in Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Kathryn was born November 29, 1918, the daughter of Heino and Arentje Dallinga. She attended Weber High School and though she never graduated, was very proud of obtaining her GED much later in life. Kathryn married Briant LeRoy Gale March 15, 1938. Briant passed away May 13, 1995. Kathryn worked at Sperry Rand Corporation and Defense Depot Ogden prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in several positions over her lifetime. She is survived by her daughter Beverlie Burkinshaw (Reid) her sons Robert Gary Gale, and Randy B. Gale (Vicki) many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Briant and her oldest son Frank Gale. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:00pm at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah 84403. A viewing will be held at the mortuary for 1 hour prior to the service.
