Kathy Vanderstappen

Kathy Vanderstappen, 70, passed away on May 3, 2022, unexpectantly from a stroke.

She was born July 17, 1951, to Kathern Louise Hendricksen & Cley Blaine Rallison, of Ogden, UT. She grew up with three brothers, and four sisters who she loved dearly. After High School, Kathy married Rick Fryer, together they had their daughter Janice. They later divorced. Kathy went on to marry Danny O’Neal.

Together, had three daughters, Dawn, Marcy, and Veronica. They later divorced. Then in 1979 Kathy met Gary Vanderstappen, who had three boys, Shane, Brandon, and Aaron. On October 19, 1984, they married…and that is how they became known as “the Brady Bunch”. Kathy stayed busy raising six rambunctious kids, and her nieces and nephews that were over often. She loved to spend time with friends and family.

Kathy marched to the beat of her own drum. She had a quick wit and was always up to some sort of shenanigans. Her humor and silly antics could always make you laugh or keep you guessing. She loved her animals, especially her cats. Kathy enjoyed bowling, playing on the slot machines, playing board games, and was a great partner in Spades.

Kathy was reunited in Heaven with her parents Kathern Bennett, Cley Rallison, and stepfather Raymond Bennett. Sisters: Carol Smith, Nancy Valdez, and Lynn Wolverton. Brothers: Larry, Ronny, Alonzo Rallison.

Kathy is survived by her Husband, Gary Vanderstappen. Her Children: Janice Magha, Dawn (Kevin) Stevens, Veronica (Ryan) Harding, Marcy (Wade) O’Neal. Shane (Sandy) Williams, Brandon Vanderstappen, and Aaron (Sabrina) Vanderstappen, and 17 Grandchildren. 10 Great Grandchildren. Brother: Brent (Ethhel) Rallison, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of live will be held May 21, 2022, from 2:00-5:00 pm at the VFW 907 W 12th St Ogden, UT. 84404
