Kay Miller Payne passed away from pneumonia on July 26, 2012. Kay was born on Feb. 26, 1940 to Del and Melva Miller in Ogden, Utah. She married Marvin Lee Payne on Dec. 8, 1960. Kay is survived by her sister and brother, Judy Bylsma and Jack Miller; her children, Carl Bruce Sutton, Emily Olson, Sandra Lott, and Debra Payne; her grandchildren, Brett Jones, Brandon, Bryson, and Brynn Lott, Crystal Gross, Dolci Beach, Charles Olson, and Mariea Myers; her great grandchildren, Alli, Kate, Miya, Savannah, Alexise, Dierdre, Jessica, Caleb, Jaedyn, Clarke, Emma, and Fiona.Mom, we will miss your fun-loving, creative, rebellious spirit. You were so sick and so immobile for such a long time. We mourn your loss here in this world, and we celebrate your freedom in another. You will always be with us whenever we travel to new places, listen to beautiful music, wear colorful clothing, laugh, or simply love one another unconditionally, as you taught us to do. Our lives have been deeply enriched for having known you. We love you, Mom.
