Kenneth (Kenny) Thomas Rowe

Kenneth (Kenny) Thomas Rowe was born as an only child on March 16th, 1935, to Edna Pomeroy in Golden, Colorado. He died peacefully, September 16, 2021, at his home, he was 86 years old.

Kenneth married Dorothy Ann Timm (Dot) in Brighton Colorado on October 20, 1957. He is survived by their four children Randall, Kristine, Karen, and Rodger (Joni). Debby, from a previous marriage, six grandchildren, Reggie, Thomas (Tommy), Victoria, Candice (Tyler), Treyele (Daniel), Cody, eleven great-grandchildren, Jayden, Mckenzie, Xristopher, Isabella, Carson, Adrianna, Wyatt, Truss, Tate, Carter and Naiyah.

Kenneth's job transferred him to Utah working as a propane gas manager for ASM Enterprises in 1966 making Utah their permanent home. He later became employed with UTA as a bus driver. He worked very hard to provide for his family and to make sure they were taken care of.

Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman. He loved nature, hunting, fishing, camping and to spend time in the outdoors. He played basketball in his earlier years and enjoyed most sports. His favorite past times were woodworking, working on automobiles and could fix anything that was put in front of him. He liked to "tinker” around working or making different things. He loved to explore, especially garage sales or auctions for that unique item or tool as if it was a long-lost treasure. He had a knack of spotting an object laying in the road "a mile away", and if you were driving with him, and if the car suddenly stopped, you soon realized that he spotted something at least a few miles back, he would get this little grin on his face, as if he had just found a million bucks, would place the item in the vehicle and then drive away, you didn’t know if he was going to share with you what he had found, or not.. He had that quirky loving personality that would just make you smile. He had a knack of teaching anyone who wanted to learn the things that he knew whether it was making something out of wood, repairing something, hunting, or just learning to fish. He was a man with great integrity, values and loved his family very much, he will be in our hearts and memories forever and he will be missed dearly.

Later in life, he met Kathryn Welton, whom he shared his last few years with. Kathryn lovingly took care of Kenneth in his final days, which we are very grateful. He gained the love and respect of a second family which meant very much to him and them.
