Kenneth Wilde passed away on August 17, 2016 in Kirkland, Washington at age 86. Ken was born in Ogden, Utah on July 25, 1930 to Ellis Wilford Wilde and Sarah Ellen Rose. Ken grew up in Ogden with three brothers. Ken married Elaine Hansen from Kanesville on August 3, 1950 in the Logan Temple. Shortly after they were married, Ken was called into the military. He served in the Army during the Korean War. After returning home, Ken used his benefits to further his education, attending Weber State College and then Utah State University where he earned a BS degree in Industrial Technology in 1957. After graduation, he was hired by the Boeing Company and moved to Seattle, Washington to start his career as an Aerospace Test Technician. After retirement, Ken and Elaine served an LDS mission at the Family History Center in Salt Lake City, Utah and also served many years in the Seattle Temple. At the time of Kens death, he and his wife, Elaine, had seven children, 23 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren. Ken is survived by his wife, Elaine Redmond, (Washington); three brothers, Neil (Washington Terrace), Wayne (Pleasant View), and Ronald (Amarillo, Texas); five children: sons, Doran (Orem, Utah), Leon Arnold (Maryland), and Ryan (New Jersey); and daughters, Ilene Jones (Bellevue, WA) and Noreen Wilde (Marysville, WA). Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice; son, Kevin andgranddaughter, Miah. A funeral was held in Redmond, Washington on August 20, 2016. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 am at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
