Kevin passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday August 22, 2012. He was born in California on October 29, 1955 to Timothy Francis Grogan and Alice "Charlie" Grogan. He was raised and lived in Ogden, Utah.Kevin married the love of his life, Thelma Kay Pewtress on November 15, 1974. Together they had three children.Kevin worked as a machinist at Hill Air Force Base. He made many great friends throughout his life and lived one day at a time. Kevin had many hobbies; he loved to camp and hike; he could build anything that he visualized in his mind; he enjoyed photography and painting; but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. Rarely a weekend passed without his house and yard being full of children and laughter. He will be remembered for his humor and for always being there when needed.Kevin is survived by his wife Thelma Kay Grogan, his brother Timothy Francis Grogan Jr., sister Leen Grogan, his three children; Kevin (Sandy) Shawn Grogan, Michael Patrick Grogan, Crysta (Sheldon) Leen Gardner and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.A memorial gathering will take place Monday August 27, 2012 from 5-7pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden.
