Kim Olson (Claude Kimball Olson), 62, passed away, September 17, 2015. He was born July 29, 1953 to Gilbert and Ronda (Kimball) Olson in Ogden, Utah. Kim graduated from Weber State University. He married Janet Rebecca (Becky) Bird on May 30, 1981 and was later divorced. Kim enjoyed a successful career at GSL and at Thiokol (ATK) as a Chemist Quality Control. He worked on projects including the space shuttle program. He also successfully owned and operated the Blue Ribbon Stables. Kim is survived by Becky Olson, Kaylene D. (Travis) Meyerhoffer, Jaclyn S. (Kellen) Waite and Wendy M. Olson; four grandchildren, Jesse and Tiana Meyerhoffer and Keaton and Preslee Waite. Kim is preceded in death by Gilbert and Ronda B. Olson. Graveside Services will be held for family and friends on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. A luncheon will follow.
