Kim Thedell, 62, passed away July 10, 2016. He was born on August 15, 1953 in Ogden, Utah to Norman and VeraJean Cody Thedell.
In 1980, Kim married Gloria Daley (Roy, Utah) but later divorced. They have three children.
Kim had many talents and interests including music, theater, and arts during high school and college.
Kims employment as a cable TV technician lasted decades which he loved to do. He always loved to help others. Some other jobs he had included carpentry, hanging sheet rock and many other handy man skills.
Kim had many hobbies. He enjoyed playing the guitar, spending time outdoors with family and friends fishing and camping. He usually spent his Sunday afternoons watching NASCAR races while cheering on his favorite driver.
Kim had a passion for Classic Rock and Roll music such as Pink Floyd, Crosby Stills and Nash, and John Lennon. Kim was free spirited and easy to please.
Some of Kims fondest memories were annual fishing trips to Spirit Lake in the Uintah Mountains with his family and a trip to England with his Mum and brother. He celebrated a birthday on the Queen Mary.
Family will miss his weekly calls. Pappy will miss sitting by the camp fire and fishing on their favorite rock at Spirit Lake. NASCAR races will never be the same.
Kim is survived by his parents, Norman (Marilyn) Thedell Brigham City, UT, and VeraJean Cody Thedell, Victoria, Canada; two brothers, Todd (Kate) Thedell, Olympia, WA, Brinn Thedell Phoenix AZ; sister, Sharajoy (Barry) Carr, Roy, UT; his three children,Amy Thedell Hatch (Christopher) Clinton, UT, Andrew Thedell (Krystle) Clinton, UT, Alex Thedell (Candice) Roy, Utahand five grandchildren.
Kim is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy and Helmer Thedell, Charles and Daisy C Cody.
An open house will be held at his daughters home Sunday July 17, 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at 2028 North 2475 West, Clinton, Utah to celebrate Kims life. Please come and share your thoughts or memories with us!
